
Born in Alkmaar in 1984, guitarist Tim Langedijk is known for a body of work that moves fluidly across genres.
At the age of nine he started to play classical guitar, which succeeded some years later by the electric. While playing in various rock and soul bands he finished a jazz study at the Rotterdam Conservatory.
With his trio, the Tim Langedijk Trio, he recorded 9 albums. Over the years he worked as a session player with with the Metropole Orchestra, Paradox Jazz Orchestra, Teus Nobel, Jan van Duikeren, Ack van Rooyen, Fay Claassen, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Rufus Wainwright, Toon Roos, Jasper van ‘t Hof, Donny McCaslin, Gabriela Kozyra Quartet and many more.
He is a sought-after studio guitarist in The Netherlands and works as an arranger for several productions. He is currently teaching at the Utrecht Conservatory (HKU) and the Conservatory of Haarlem.
